The theme for this year's conference comes from Colossians 1:13-14, where it talks about Jesus rescuing us from the kingdom of darkness and bringing us into the kingdom of light. These two verses are actually part of a longer prayer that starts on verse 9. In order to get the full context of the verses, you will need to study Colossians 1:9-14. This is Paul's prayer for the church in Colossi and it can become our prayer as well as we pray for family members, friends and the men in your small group.

Based on this passage, what do we learn about God? What do we learn about mankind?
