A mom yells to her teenage son as he is running out the door to go out with his friends: "Make good choices!" Sons grow into men. Decision making patterns develop. Values are adopted. Our moral and spiritual compass is tested. The difference now is that the weight of our choices are heavier. We are not islands and no longer make decisions in a vacuum. There are families, friends, business partners, children, spouses, sons, daughters, and the spirals of ALL their connections that can be impacted greatly by one decision we make. Most of the time we don't think about that - that there is a potential blast zone of one good decision or bad decision which can radiate blessing or chaos upon an entire network of humanity. That is why God's man must remain ULTIMATELY disciplined over the course of a lifetime. We all know how hard it is establish our spiritual integrity but also how easy it is - in one undisciplined moment - to lose it. God says life is short (like a vapor) and that we can live ULTIMATELY (for eternity) but that hinges on us staying spiritually disciplined. Good news man of God - help is on the way! Join men's expert and pastor Kenny Luck who reminds us in this study: "You will experience either the pain of discipline now or the pain of regret later but there is no avoiding the pain." How will you choose? Immediately? Or ultimately?
